On hearing these words of mother, Karthikeya set out towards his goal. They quickly boarded their vehicle to revolve around the Earth. But Ganesh ji still stood in the same place. Due to being obese and his vehicle being a rat, how did he go around early.

But Ganesha was the most intelligent deity. He used his sharp intelligence. A thought came to his mind and he asked his parents to sit in one place. He then revolved around the parents seven times. In this way, by orbiting the parents, they became entitled to receive the fruits of the earth's orbit. And they won the bet.
